Poeziile de dragoste sunt cele mai infidele;
se dăruiesc celor care le citesc
dacă se pricep să facă dragoste
chiar dacă patul este din piatră.
Din acest motiv și din multe altele
scriu poezie.

I desperately want to read this, but it’s not giving me the option to translate for some reason.

THE POEMS
Poems come without permission out of nowhere
If there is a storm, the language arrives in the raindrops
Are drawn on the gray walls of time
and in the papyri of the Egyptian mummies
They die on rising to the surface of the leaf
when they don’t take root in the imagination
Sometimes they drown in the inkwell
despite having an ocean of verses
If the inspiration is ending
the verses are sought, without delay,
in the black market of literature
or in the flea market of language
There are poems that never saw the light
because they came out naked
from the womb of a virgin poet
Others spin scattered causing chills
being without clothes in a snowflake
A poem has no expiration date
because it resurrects dead poets
Love poems are the most unfaithful
They are transferred to those who read it
if they are good at making love
even if the bed is made of stone
For that and for many more reasons
is that I write poetry

Whoever gave us these verses has a complete idea of poetry, of what it is and of what it is not, its difficulties, its perils, the complex path it is forced to take.
A profound lyric that leaves a trace in the soul of those who create it and those who receive it.

Poetry allows us to a thought, a mode of reflection to feel present in life and hope that whoever is going to read it, gets involved in the verses and feels included.
Thank you Marzia for your kind comment and for being able to include your thoughts in the poem. A big hug.

Dragă Jo, nu e chiar aşa! Cum adică «I was worried about nothing»!?!

Better than sex – they say. And they are so right! 🙂

When we look at the reason for writing poems, the verses express their feelings. I am pleased that you like the poem. Thanks for reading. A big hug.

I like your lyrics very much. Poetry is the purest expression of human feelings. Like the drawing anyway. In every artwork it is you, the one who writes or draws. I’m glad that I met you.🤗🤗🤗

You write to reflect that moment that may not be there tomorrow. So we decipher the feelings and make verses. I am very glad that you like the poem. A hug.

Te invito cordialmente a mi reciente poema: NO PUEDO VIVIR SIN TU VIDA…Un abrazo.

What a wonderful surprise! Thank you, Manuel. ❤️ Although you don’t understand Romanian, you must know that my fellow compatriots praised my translation. Furthermore, some of my friends are poets themselves and they praised your inspired imagery. And two of them re-blogged your poem in my translation. It was a total success. 🙂

I am very fortunate to have received your translation. The truth is that I did not expect such a reception but everything is due to your effort. So, infinite thanks Jo. A great hug and my eternal gratitude.

Hola, Don Manuel!

Words and thoughts come from deep within, from the homesickness in which we live. Locks and bolts open in dreams. Constellations that are worded the moment they lose their balance.
Thanks for this wonderful poem, Manuel. I love your words.

To receive these words from you, I would write every day. It is necessary that the moods coincide and end up being clearly reflected in the verses, an ideal place to apply an imagined desire to an imperfect existence. Thanks Rosie for your kind comment on the poem. With darling as always,
Manuel Angel

I am very thankful you had responded to my posts. thank you for being my friend Sir. I’m currently studying a storm taking place, well, it’s been like a three day long event so far, i have two thermometers and a rain gauge and am trying to find a barometer just to see whats going on with the atmosphere. I’m a bit of a poet myself, a have a few poems published under a pen name yet have a collection i had at least copy righted in thelibrary of congress. i pray i knew someone to help me publish them all into a book of poems with my paintings or illustrations of what i have. I’m on chapter four of a manuscript, I’m using an older version of a typewriter a Sears Roebuck & Company typewriter, electric. I am thankful for you. God Bless.

I really comment when I read something interesting. The studies you are doing today are fascinating. You have to put all your passion and knowledge when you have the certainty that you are going to achieve something useful for others. Hopefully you can get someone to support you in the publication of your poems and drawings. I understand that Amazon has a platform for publishing books. Good luck in what you have undertaken. A hug.
